In 1982 Steve joined the computer industry, over the years he has held positions in entry sales and service, working with individuals and companies of every size. Learning his craft and gaining the knowledge that brought him to management. Steve has worked for a several computer companies in the Central Florida Region where he became known as someone to depend on when something needed to be done.
In 1993 Steve found a need in the Southwest Florida Region that was not being addressed, someone
with extensive knowledge in PC and Macintosh computers. Through contact and the enthusiasm of his
customers he found a niche, a need for consulting, training, repair, and of course, personal service. Other than one exception, no one company or person in the area was providing that service. That is how Computer Specialists was founded, on the premise that personal service was needed, that a need for expertise was and is needed, and that his ability to help others was the foundation for the company.
Steve always keeps himself one step ahead by continuing to expand his expertise. Unlike your typical computer repairman, Steve takes his work personally. He takes the time to personally explain things to his customers. He is upfront and honest and his reputation proceeds him. Steve's growth and success in the industry has been totally based on word-of-mouth referrals.
Steve's client base covers a wide range of clientele. This includes most of his original customers from twenty-years ago. Having said that, quality of service should not be a question.
Since its inception, Computer Specialists has expanded its horizons adding website development and marketing to its many list of services. Steve has mastered getting websites in the top 20 without having to pay outside companies. Each site is customized to fit each client's requirements.
